“We cannot forget the sacrifices being made to defend our freedom… those sacrifices deserve to be honored and never forgotten.”
— Chef Robert Irvine (Founder, Robert Irvine Foundation)
The Robert Irvine Foundation’s primary focus is on giving back and supporting our military personnel (active, retired, and veterans) and first responders through resiliency and health and wellness programs, in addition to financial support of top rated and thoroughly vetted veterans service and first responder organizations.
Since the Foundation’s launch, we have served hearty meals to thousands of service members and veterans, we’ve trained PTS service dogs for severely wounded combat veterans, provided support for homeless veterans by renovating kitchen and dining facilities, provided relief grants to assist those in need through trying times, provided mobility devices for injured veterans, and provided cooking classes for service members and their families for easy ideas and healthy choices. In addition, we’ve created resiliency programs for those we serve, such as an annual golf tournament for wounded veterans, an annual experience for surviving family members of lost loved ones who have served by taking them out for a weekend of fun, bonding and peer support in Las Vegas where they are able to connect with other survivors during activities such as cooking classes and military memorials honoring their lost loved ones, and various other events to bring joy or lighten the burdens of our nation’s heroes and their families. We will continue to create and develop these events and programs to adapt to the ever changing needs of those we serve.
We strive to create awareness throughout the communities we engage in and of the sacrifices made by our military personnel, first responders, and their families; and, in turn, inspire the communities to appreciate and support the men and women defending our freedom at home and abroad.
