Our Food Program is personally curated by Robert based on his career as a veteran, celebrity chef, and long-time supporter of our military and first responder communities.
When Robert started his career as a cook in the Navy, he knew he had found his calling. He witnessed the power of food and its ability to bring people together, nourishing their body, mind, and spirit.
BREAKING BREAD WITH HEROES
As a chef, Robert knows that food is love. We’re showing love to our service members, veterans, and first responders by providing delicious meals. Gathered around a table, our heroes have an opportunity to talk, listen, and share like family.
No military family should feel hunger or be forced to ration food, yet 1 in 5 military families struggles with food insecurity. (source: MFAN) We’re combating this crisis through grocery handouts and by distributing gift cards in local communities.
Thank you for reaching out to the Robert Irvine Foundation. We have recently experienced an increase in requests and appreciate your patience if there is a delay in response. Our team reviews every inquiry personally and we consider each request thoughtfully. We wish we could help every person and organization in need of support, but regrettably, we are unable to do so at this time. If it is an emergency, please reference our resource page and reach out to a 24/7 hotline that is able to assist you further. Thank you again for your understanding and we wish you the best of luck.
