THE CAUSES

Robert Irvine Foundation

The Robert Irvine Foundation’s primary focus is on giving-back and supporting our military personnel (active, retired, and veterans) and first responders through morale and welfare programs, in addition to financial support of properly vetted Veterans’ Organizations.

Since the foundation’s creation, we have fed over 125,000 wounded warriors and their caregivers through our partnership with other organizations that align with our mission, supported the training of service dogs for severely handicapped service members, and funded a number of local and regional programs designed to bring joy or lighten the burdens of our nation’s heroes.

We strive to create awareness throughout the community of the sacrifices made by our military personnel, first responders, and their families; and, inspire community support for the men and women defending our freedom at home and abroad.

USO of Metropolitan Washington – Baltimore

The USO strengthens America’s military service members by keeping them connected to family, home and country, throughout their service to the nation.

The USO is a family of volunteers, sustained by the charitable contributions of millions of generous Americans. We are united in our commitment to support America’s service members by keeping them connected to the people, places and things they love. We do this through countless acts of caring, comfort, connection and support. Our work is America’s most powerful expression of gratitude to the men and women who secure our nation’s freedoms.

USO -Metro is the largest chapter chartered by the USO, with a strong tradition of service in the National Capital Region. Nine locations and a “deployable” Mobile USO provide signature USO services to the nearly 300,000 military members and their families in the region and the 150,000 who travel through our local airports.
